Meet Dr. Nick Kim, DMD, MDS

“I’m passionate about helping patients improve and achieve a beautiful smile.”

Get to Know Your Suwanee Orthodontist

Dr. Kim didn’t have the opportunity to get orthodontic treatment early on. When he started his orthodontic treatment during dental school, he needed four teeth extracted to correct his smile because it was too late to straighten his teeth without extractions.

Even after that, he was not satisfied with his smile.

When pursuing orthodontic treatment while in dental school, Dr. Kim encountered every appliance imaginable. This up close and personal experience with various treatment methods allows him to understand the pros and cons of every treatment!

Education

Dr. Kim attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for his undergraduate career. From there, he went on to the UAB School of Dentistry.

He obtained his orthodontic certificate and Master’s of Science in Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

Experience

After completing his residency, Dr. Kim and his family relocated to the Atlanta area and have called it home ever since.

He has treated more than 2,000 patients and served as an associate orthodontist around the greater Atlanta area.

Doctor's Philosophy

Dr. Kim doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Rather, he custom-tailors treatment plans for each and every patient he sees.

Everybody’s bone structure and facial structure is different. It takes 17 different muscles to create one smile and that’s exactly why designing a smile is delicate.

Straightening teeth doesn’t just give you the best version of your smile. A smile should be precisely tailored to your facial and bone structure and it should be able to reflect your personal needs and tastes, too.

You deserve a smile you love. Let us find the best version of your smile.
